Aoibheann O’Sullivan has coordinated and taught a bespoke range of practical and theoretical media workshops for a variety of organizations like Filmbase, Griffith College, Vega School & the Digital Hub.
She also works in the not-for-profit, community and voluntary sector, with the aim to demystify video production and empower groups to use video as a modern, effective and relatively inexpensive communication tool.

Crew TV
Crew TV is a collaboration between Young Urban Arts and DCTV. After a series of video workshops 14 young people from across Dublin scripted, directed and became cast and crew on a 3 part fictional series called 'Happy Pizza'. To be broadcast in October 2009.

Spokes Video Workshops
Eight weeks of video and editing workshops with the Spokes (Focus Ireland) video crew. This resulted in the completion of 2 short video’s showing two different transitional housing options available to people who are sleeping rough in Dublin today.

Shift the Lens
An open day of workshops with local community groups covering press release writing, legal advice & photo/video sessions. We compiled a booklet and since then have held smaller, more intimate photography and video workshops with community groups around Durban like the Bayview Flats Residents’ Association.

DigiRhythm DVD
A music documentary commissioned by The Digital Hub following children from various inner city residential groups as they took part in a 3 week music making workshop. Clips from this were broadcast on RTE’s prime time news shows.
