Aoibheann majored in Politics and Philosophy before getting into documentary video production. Since 2004 she has been commissioned to direct a variety of short documentary films for a range of organisations. Many of her films have been well received at local and international film festivals, with her latest creations scooping some prestigious awards. She continues to freelance as a camera person and editor, and has worked with a number of acclaimed and award winning production companies based in Ireland, South Africa and the United States. Her work has been broadcast on RTÉ, EURONEWS, MNET and SABC.
Aoibheann specialises in factual story telling, investigative journalism and creative documentary.
She is also Creative Director of Distilled Ideas.
